ASTROHN Technology Ltd. and Scientific and Engineering Center for Technical Security Equipment LLC joining their technology and expertise

“Scientific and Engineering Center for Technical Security Equipment”, “Rostec” center in the field of design, modernization, implementation, and maintenance of engineering and technical security equipment, together with ASTROHN Technology Ltd., one of the largest enterprises in Russia in the development and production of television and terahertz optics, are going to develop unique technical security and protection solutions for stationary facilities.

The companies’ nearest plans include the development of an integrated monitoring and automated safety management system for stationary facilities. The system will consist of scalable subsystems and services that ensure interaction and data exchange, which will increase the anti-terrorist security of extended facilities. Within the framework of the system, it is planned to use thermal imagers, which have a number of advantages over similar equipment on the market. In particular, this is an increased focal length of the lens, a high resolution of the sensor, as well as an increased frequency of thermal imaging frames.

The equipment is cold-resistant (from -45 degrees Celsius) and has a built-in intelligent object recognition system that analyzes the received thermal image and compares it with the main threat models. Being a domestic development makes it no small thing.

“The expertise and developments of our partners in thermal imaging systems will help expand the range of solutions offered by the Scientific and Engineering Center of Technical Security Equipment for the protection of extended perimeters. The new integrated security system based on the latest domestic equipment, in our opinion, will not only be in demand at the facilities of the Rostec State Corporation, but also has significant potential for use at any facilities that require reliable security with a focus on engineering and technical equipment”, Aleksandr Samoilovich, General Director of Scientific and Engineering Center for Technical Security Equipment LLC says.
