Magadan is being armed with ASTROHN thermal imager
Two Magadan airport has been equipped with ASTROHN-PTR2020 thermal imagers. The devices can quickly identify passengers and permanent airport employees with fever in the stream of people. This significantly increases the effectiveness of anti-epidemic measures taken in the region in the fight against coronavirus infection.
ASTROHN-PTR2020 recorder is the only fully domestic device on the Russian market. Therefore, ASTROHN Technology Ltd. guarantees uninterrupted operation and maintenance of the device during the entire service life. The thermal imaging module is equipped with a blackbody, which allows detecting elevated human body temperature in the observation area in less than one second by non-contact, highly accurate method. In addition, PTR2020 offers automatic collection of temperature statistics of healthy people, on the basis of which the value of the reference body temperature of a healthy person is automatically selected. This will compensate for the influence of the environment, which is especially important for such a harsh region as Magadan, as well as compensate for the errors of the device itself. The overall high accuracy of temperature measurement, which is only ±0.3°C, allows PTR2020 to be effectively used even with a constant and dense stream of people.
The video image obtained from the camera displays an area with an elevated human body temperature. The video image and infrared image, as well as the numerical values of temperatures, are displayed on the monitor. Once a person with fever is detected, a relevant report page is automatically generated with the time, place, photo, thermal image, and temperature data.
