Porcelain-fused-to-metal casing for thermal imaging detectors

ASTROHN Technology Ltd together with Start SPE, JSC, developed a modification of the porcelain-fused-to-metal casing for promising in-house infrared uncooled thermal imaging detectors.

The pilot batch was released on 01.07.2019. The porcelain-fused-to-metal casing has planar terminals, which will enhance the mechanical strength of the thermal imaging detector in the product with increased vibrations and accelerations.

Thermal imaging modules with detectors in a modified casing can be used both in ground-based and in rocket and space-rocket systems. The case has an integrated heater for operation in low temperatures, up to -55°C.

The case has 38 planar terminals with a pitch of 1.25 mm, the overall pre-molding dimension is 40×24×2.6 mm.
