Meeting of the management and technical specialists of ASTROHN Technology Ltd with representatives of the Directorate of Moscow Metro State Unitary Enterprise
At the end of this February, the management and technical specialists of the enterprise met with representatives of the Directorate for Information Technology and Communication Systems of the Moscow Metro Unitary Enterprise on the territory of ASTROHN Technology Ltd.
The agenda of the meeting included current issues of transport security and the possibility of using ready-made technical solutions of ASTROHN Technology Ltd at the facilities of the State Unitary Enterprise of Moscow Metro.
Today, ASTROHN takes one of the leading positions in the development and implementation of advanced technologies and innovations in Russia, and the technical solutions proposed at the meeting have already been implemented in projects to protect the infrastructure of high-speed railways (Russian Railways). One example of such a technical solution is the ASTROHN-2A thermal imaging modules, which were developed subject to the significant experience in operating the ASTROHN thermal imaging systems for protecting extended facilities of Gazprom PJSC. The company started developing its in-house thermal imaging microbolometric detectors in 2009. ASTROHN modules meet modern requirements for security equipment and are designed for operation in all climatic zones of the Russian Federation in a mild-cold, cold and extremely cold climate, as well as in the most severe conditions with minimal maintenance. Astrohn-320A100 and Astrohn-320A75 thermal imaging systems have been commercially available over the past years, which allows us to guarantee the module’s performance for 3 years, or more than 30,000 operating hours.
We should note that the technical solutions proposed by Astrohn and discussed at the meeting were certified in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 969 of September 26, 2016 “On approval of the requirements for the functional properties of technical means of ensuring transport safety and the rules of mandatory certification of technical means of ensuring transport safety”. This resolution governs the requirements for technical systems and means of signaling, for technical systems and means of access control, for technical systems and means of inspection, for technical means of video surveillance, etc. According to Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 969 of September 26, 2016, all transport safety and counter-terrorism equipment is subject to mandatory certification.
As another example of the development and implementation of advanced technologies and innovations by Astrohn, company employees demonstrated during the meeting the THERZ-7A small-sized passive terahertz complex, which allows security personnel to conduct quick and effective checks of the flow of people without physical contact in order to detect secretly carried prohibited substances. This THERZ-7A complex can be easily integrated into an already installed security system, extending its functionality.
As a result of a discussion of promising developments of ASTROHN Technology Ltd, the participants of the meeting proposed the implementation of an electronic system for determining explosives in the passenger control gate to quickly detect passenger contact with explosives.
