ASTROHN Technology Ltd taking part in the Photonics-2019 exhibition

The stand of ASTROHN Technology Ltd provoked interest. The visitors of the exhibition were especially interested in the first domestic uncooled microbolometric detector – ASTRON-64017 (38417). The detector was developed according to domestic technology with a sensitive vanadium oxide (VОx) element. It operates in the infrared spectrum with a wavelength of 7-14 µm and a full frame frequency of 60 Hz. The average pixel response time constant is 15 milliseconds. The resolution of the matrix is both low (384×288 pixels) and high (640×480 pixels). The weight of the detector is only 8 grams with dimensions of the porcelain-fused-to-metal case 24×24×3 mm.

Thus, equipping this product with ASTROHN infrared lenses with commercially available 20 to 275 mm focal lengths allows getting the final product – a thermal imager for video surveillance and protection of perimeters, surrounding territories, continuously operating in difficult climatic conditions. Such products are widely needed by specialists in the military industry, law enforcement, civil defense, as well as monitoring of terrain and specially protected objects.

“Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics” is a leading innovative project in Russia and Eastern Europe for the achievements and capabilities of modern laser, optical and optoelectronic technology. Currently, laser-optical equipment, optoelectronics have become indispensable in all competitive industrial industries, photonics open up fundamentally new opportunities in medicine, agriculture, high-speed communications and computer science, in many areas of activity – from science to security. Lack of these technologies makes digitalization of the economy impossible. “Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics” is an opportunity for industry professionals to exchange ideas and get acquainted with world trends and prospects for the laser market development.

The organizers of the exhibition of laser, optical and optoelectronic technology “Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics-2019 ”was Expocenter JSC and the Laser Association. Support was provided by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, and the EPIC (European Photonics Industry Consortium). The exhibition was held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

This year about 200 companies from Austria, Belarus, Germany, China, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, the USA, Finland, Switzerland, Sweden, and Japan took part in the exhibition. Companies from Germany, China, and Belarus presented both national and collective stands. The exhibition occupied an area of 2500 м².

The Moscow exhibition, attracting a large number of representatives of various industries from the real sector of the Russian economy, has become an effective operating platform for those who create and implement photonics technologies in our country. Exhibitors are leading manufacturers of laser and optical products, dealers of major companies, research institutes, and leading educational institutions of Russia and other countries.

This year, about 140 Russian companies took part in the exhibition. Among them are traditional participants – Skolkovo Foundation, Schwabe Holding, SB RAS, Macrooptics, Elektrosteklo, Azimut Photonics, All-Russian Research Institute for Optical and Physical Measurements Federal State Unitary Enterprise, Photonics Cloud, ASTROHN Technology Ltd, as well as the debutants of the project: Lassard, Elkom, Kugel, Hikurtek, T8, Garden Group and others. Foreign exhibitors were such well-known companies as Rosendahl Nextrom, Trotec Produktions u. Vertriebs GmbH, Infratec, Schott, Trumpf, Eksma, Hamamatsu, Optotech Optikmaschinen GmbH, Cklaser, Standa, Buhler AG, Scanlab and others. For the first time, Mitutoyo, Yamazaki Mazak, Suntec Laser Technology, Metallife, SON-X, TEM, ADL Optica took part in the exhibition.
