ASTROHN Technology Ltd engineers completed the creation of thermal imaging modules based on new 384×288 and 640×480 microbolometric detectors with a vanadium oxide sensitive element.

The vanadium oxide sensor has several advantages. The first and most important is the higher temperature sensitivity of the matrix and image stability. The vanadium oxide detector is more resistant to flash exposure to a high-intensity source (for example, the sun), and has an increased operating temperature range. Together, these parameters make this module suitable for use in the military industry as well.

The module is easily integrated into client devices and systems due to the available analog and digital interfaces. They support digital video, and can be remotely controlled by a computer via Ethernet.

ASTROHN module advantages:

  • 384×288 or 640×480, 17 μm format detector – high resolution.
  • Thermal sensitivity 40 mK – contrast image, less noise, longer range of action.
  • Vibration and shock- resistant in accordance with GOST RV 20.39.304-98 – can be used in weapons and military equipment.
